Our Board

We are a diverse group of people from across Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Newham Redbridge and Haringey Boroughs of London. Our core group is currently made up of 12 key members, each of whom brings a range of relevant skills and experiences.

Benjamin Ovio (Founder/Chair)

Ben is the founder/Convener of the CLT with more than two decades experience in the non-profit and voluntary sector as a management consultant and charity adviser. An experienced organisational development and change management specialist, Ben is focused on mobilising and empowering the BAME community in London through housing and support for employability and entrepreneurship. He has an MA in International Development (Development Management); BSc Business Education (Accounting); Associate of the Chartered Quality Institute and a certified management consultant. He is currently a member of various management committees of the CLT: governance, statutory compliance; site & project development; finance and fundraising.
